Hailing from Morganton, N.C. The Fab Beat was formed in 2005. Playing in different bands, Randy and Tim Barrier, along with friends Charles Shoemake and Brandon Holcomb, would get together to play the music of their heroes The Beatles. After months of jamming together, friends and family suggested they play for an audience. Apprehensive of how people would react to a "Beatles cover band", their anxiety would soon be dissipated by the reaction they received and still receive every time they play.
"We do this for one reason and that is our love for Beatles' music. I think people appreciate our excitement and passion to play this great music. We want carry on the legacy for the next generation," explains Randy.
